I think there’s some dissonance between “fetish” and “fetishization” that we need to discuss. The two things are NOT the same. Fetishes are just specific things or actions that turn you on, like water play or big toys. It is just a thing. And object. Fetishization is when you take a person’s identity and boil it down TO a fetish. THAT is the issue with fetishization, that it is inherently dehumanizing to a person, objectifying them into a *thing* that turns you on.

Hi hi trans queer guy here. Im currently dating my partner who is trans and non-binary. When I first started dating them I wasn’t even looking for a trans partner like me. I never really considered dating someone like me before that n I realized that I actually didn’t mind that at all. I honestly prefer dating other trans n genderqueer people like me considering that they understand my dysphoria at times and how I really just don’t have to explain myself to them. I didn’t know that t4t relationships are seen as fetishy. They’ve taught me to love my body as it is right now and to appreciate my journey in self discovery. Our relationships and experiences with gender identity are interlocked and I just think that’s neat.

I tend not to argue but will either make them make themselves look stupid or put a counter point for anyone reading it. I saw young teenage girls coming out on the comment section of Billie eilish music video, to be told by grown men they're confused, going to hell, disgusting etc I'm so proud of you and this younger generation's bravery. Took me till 26 to come out and even longer to come to terms with that. I think you are great and I'm sorry you had to deal with all this but also glad you are using your voice to fight back.

Its better to just let the studies speak for themselves. It's supposed to be about what and how the world is. Not what you want it to be. But that's true for everything. Humans are just a sort of animal. We can be understood as animals. Nothing wrong with that.

Since I started listening to heavy metal and rock as an early teenager I've been a bit confused as to what to call myself I havent dressed to show my taste until 2020 and when I was on tiktok people would call me goth others would call me emo I felt most comfortable with the label "alternative" and still do cuz the music I listen and the way I dress doesn't neatly fit into a certain subculture so I guess I'm a bit of everything I'm a hippie,emo, grunge,punk,metalhead etc especially cuz I'm spiritual but also hold anti establishment views everything gets a bit confusing sometimes I'd like to belong to a certain community but I can't find it I know I'm not goth I listen to some of the music tho but my music taste is rock and metal from the 60s to the 2000s
